Pizza That Gives Back: Eaton’s Sheboygan Supports the Humane Society of Sheboygan County

Every month, our Sheboygan team creates a new Pizza of the Month. And with every one we sell, a portion goes to help animals in our community.

At Eaton’s Fresh Pizza on N 15th Street, we believe a good neighbor does more than sell pizza. So we’ve teamed up with the Humane Society of Sheboygan County, the shelter that cares for the area’s homeless, stray, and surrendered animals.

Here’s how it works, who we’re supporting, and what’s on the menu this month.

Meet Our Partner: The Humane Society of Sheboygan County

Since 1964, the Humane Society of Sheboygan County (HSSC) has worked to prevent cruelty to animals, relieve animal suffering, and extend humane education. It began in the early 1960s with a group of dedicated volunteers led by Carol Knier, Ann Fredricks, and Sophie Gunther.

Today HSSC is Sheboygan County’s only open admissions shelter and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, caring for more than 4,700 animals every year.

The shelter’s work goes well beyond adoptions. HSSC focuses on accessible spay and neuter programs to address animal overpopulation at its source, and it runs dozens of programs that help overlooked animals find loving homes.

Keeping pets with their families

The Companion Animal Assistance Program provides pet food for a year to people facing food insecurity.

Low-cost care

Vaccine clinics, spay and neuter appointments, and Trap Neuter and Return for feral cats.

A safe place for pets

HSSC holds pets at no cost for people working with Safe Harbor or the Salvation Army Homeless Shelter.

HSSC receives no general government funding and relies entirely on the generosity of the community. That’s exactly where we want to help.
